Dr Oluwasegun Eniayewu is a lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, University of Ilorin. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) degrees at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. He is a Public Health fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP). He is a recipient of the CROI 2020 young investigator scholarship and 2022 Applied Pharmacometrics Training Fellowship. Previous projects involved development and validation of bioanalytical methods to quantify antiretroviral disposition in biological fluids (plasma and cervicovaginal fluids), drug-drug interaction study and impact of pregnancy and host genetics on drug exposure during pregnancy using clinical and in-silico studies. A major focus of his current research involves the use of human-relevant in-vitro models to understand drug disposition. He has relevant publications in high impact national and international peer review journal outlets.
